Ska-punk band The Interrupters return to The Wilma on Thursday, April 27th, click here for tickets. According to their bio on the event's website, "The Interrupters have shared stages with bands such as Rancid, blink-182, Green Day, Bad Religion, and many other stalwarts of the punk scene." You may be unfamiliar with the name but you've probably heard one or two of their songs. Check out their song "She's Kerosene" below:

I'm extremely excited for this show because their last show at The Wilma, back in the spring of 2015 with Less Than Jake and Reel Big Fish, was one of the best concerts I've ever seen. The Interrupters was the first band that night, but the crowd was electric from the very beginning of their set. I remember their singer Aimee Interrupter (aka Aimee Allen) telling us that she was from Missoula and how great it was to be playing for us. It was a heartwarming moment in a wild, absolute blast of an event. Aimee's even written a song referencing Missoula, read more about that here.

By my count, this will be The Interrupter's third show in Missoula, the other one being their show at The Kettlehouse Amphitheater with Flogging Molly last summer. They've released 4 albums. Their first, self-titled album in 2014, and their latest, In The Wild last August. This upcoming show will feature English folk-punk musician Frank Turner as the opening act, click here to check out the music video for his song Get Better.
