What is the Snowiest Month of the Year for Western Montana?

I have been curious what month we actually get the most snowfall. So when does western Montana as a whole receive the most snow?

The Weather Channel did an article back a bit about each areas snowiest month. They have months and pinpoints they used to determine each states snowiest month. By the looks of the maps December is western Montana's snowiest month. Which may be good news for some as it has already passed.

March seems the snowiest for central Montana and January for the NE portion of the state.

Looking at this table we average 11 inches in December. Billings and eastern cities besides Yellowstone area average around 8.
