This is such an amazing time of year to live here, so many plants and flowers. On my hike this weekend I ran across quite a few different wildflowers and vegetation. According to over 5,000 plant species (which includes flowers) occur in the Rocky Mountain regions.

From Lupines to Beargrass, there was so much to see and so much color as well. Some Larkspur for sure although not sure I grabbed a photo of that. Saw a lot of yellow flowers too. Here are some of the beautiful flowers I saw... a reminder of natural beauty in our backyard.

My favorite is the Indian Paintbrush!
