Draught Works Is Holding A Halloween “Party”
What's your plan for a Halloween costume this year? If you're like me, you might be struggling to even see the point in planning one. The usual Halloween festivities are going to be a lot smaller if they even happen at all. Sure, kids will want to dress up, and there are a few cool events that kids can check out around town like the Southgate Mall's Candy Crawl or Zootown Church's Trunk or Treat on Halloween.
But for adults who like to put on a costume and maybe hit up a Halloween party or two, it didn't feel like there was much incentive this year. So Draught Works Brewery has come to save the day, and give you something you'll actually want: beer!
Normally, Draught Works would be holding its annual Crappy Halloween Contest around this time every year - but 2020 is not a normal year, so they won't be able to do that. However, they've still got a plan in place to hold a Halloween "Party" on October 31st.
Basically, if you show up to Draught Works wearing a costume on the 31st, you'll get a free beer! It's an offer that's good for both in-person or to-go, to ensure social distancing.
Pretty nice, right? My costume this year is going to be Shaggy from Scooby-Doo, because I didn't want to put a lot of effort into one that I'm not taking to a bunch of parties - I wonder if my green t-shirt will be enough to qualify for a free beer? Only one way to find out. You can check out all the info you need at their Facebook event page.
