Colin Hay is Coming to Missoula
Colin Hay has had a long and pretty crazy career - he first became big as part of Men At Work in the '80s (note: "Down Under" still rocks), before going off on his own as a solo artist and gaining a career resurgence in the 2000s as an independent artist. I've been a fan of his for a while and always love seeing him pop up in random things, like his memorable guest appearance on Scrubs or providing the soundtrack for an episode of Comedy Bang! Bang!
So I'm pretty psyched to learn that Colin Hay is coming to Missoula! He's got a show set for March 9th, 2020 at the Wilma. Here's the info you need, from Logjam's press release:
Logjam Presents is pleased to welcome Colin Hay for a live concert performance at the The Wilma on Monday, March 9, 2020.
FIERCE MERCY is an epic, cinematic step forward from singer-songwriter Colin Hay, most beloved for his intimate, confessional live shows but most widely known for being an influential and celebrated frontman. The range of artists who have chosen to cite him as a muse or who have found themselves on stage with him in the past year spans the genre landscape from heavy metal, to Americana, to Cuban rhythms and beyond.
His inclusion as a playlist favorite from the likes of Metallica to The Lumineers reflects his continuing relevance and broad appeal. Now finding himself in the unprecedented place of having both ’80s fame and indie credibility, it’s possible that Hay has delivered the defining album of his solo career.
Limited Logjam presale tickets will be available online only from 10a-10p this Thursday, October 10. Sign up for the presale here.
