Popular Indie Band Moves Concert From Bozeman To Missoula Due To COVID
With COVID cases on the rise again and the Delta variant running rampant, we've begun to see some changes concert season this year. Thanks to Montana's insistence that it will NOT require vaccinations for any kind of event and prohibits businesses from requiring them, certain artists have made some alterations to their schedule. We already got word that Tennis was cancelling their show that was scheduled for The Wilma this year - now we've discovered another band is changing up their plans a little bit.
The good news is, the show will still go on - but it's gonna be in a different spot than it was originally scheduled. Popular indie soul band Lake Street Dive had a concert scheduled for The ELM in Bozeman, but it has now been moved and rescheduled to Thursday, September 23rd at the Kettlehouse Amphitheater near Missoula. According to Logjam's press release, the move to an outdoor venue was the only way to ensure that Lake Street Dive would still play in Montana.
That's a win for Missoula, but it's a bummer for the fans in Bozeman who now have to drive three hours if they still want to go see the show. If they do, their tickets will still be honored, and if they can't, they'll be able to get a refund from now until Tuesday, September 21st.
Tickets are still available for the Lake Street Dive show, now scheduled at Kettlehouse, and you can purchase them right here. Now that the band is playing in Missoula, will you be heading out to the show?
