We're moving closer and closer into the new year, which means we're starting to get a sense of the upcoming concert season in Missoula - and the first few months of 2022 are already looking pretty stacked. We've got Dierks Bentley at the Adams Center, plus Big Head Todd and the Monsters, Steve-O, Killswitch Engage, Steve Vai, Beach House, and more all making their way to the Wilma. And now, you can add another exciting one to the list - and this one actually has a pretty cool Montana connection.

Magic City Hippies are set to play The Wilma on Wednesday, February 9th - but this is far from their first time in Missoula. They performed at the Top Hat in 2019 and 2020, and fully delivered. I was there for both shows, and can vouch for what a fun onstage dynamic they've got while performing.

So it's cool to see them move to a bigger venue with The Wilma, but it's even cooler to learn this bit of information - one of the band members recently relocated to Bozeman, Montana. During the pandemic, all three band members decided to settle down in different parts of the country, and lead singer Robby Hunter wound up in Montana. Obviously, the band is still going on despite the distance, and they're actually about to release a new album in January that was recorded remotely.

Will you be checking out Magic City Hippies as they make their return to Missoula? Tickets will be going on sale on Friday, November 19th at Logjam's website.
