Deciding to become a doctor is not the easiest path in life - it's a whole lot of school and training, and then you end up with a job that's often pretty stressful (at least that's what I've gathered from watching reruns of Scrubs, which is the closest I'll ever get to being a doctor).

But depending on where you are in the country, the path to practicing medicine can go a lot of different ways. And according to a new study from Wallet Hub, it turns out that Montana is actually the best state in the entire US for people looking to get into the doctor business.

And the worst state? My old home of New York, which means I probably made the right choice to move here in the event of a medical emergency. The states rounding out the top 5 were Wisconsin, Idaho, Minnestota, and Iowa.
