We're getting closer to the fall, which means we're going to see more and more movies fighting for a spot in awards season. One of the movies I've heard a lot about is The Miseducation of Cameron Post, starring Chloe Moretz as a gay teen who gets sent to a conversion therapy center. It's been getting great reviews, and currently holds an 83% on Rotten Tomatoes.

The movie is based on a novel from 2012 written by Emily M. Danforth, a Montana native. In fact, the story actually takes place in Miles City. To celebrate the release of the film, The Roxy Theater in Missoula is actually hosting a special screening tonight, featuring a live Q&A with Danforth herself after the film.

The event is hosted by the Montana Film Festival and the Montana Book Festival. Tickets run $20 and the movie screens at 7:00. If you can't make it tonight but still want to see the movie, the Roxy has showtimes listed for the next week.
