Just after 3:00 a.m. on Monday, someone called Missoula Police and said people were attempting to break into a residence in the 2600 block of Garland Drive. Sergeant Rick Stevenson explains.

“Upon arrival, they were unable to locate anyone attempting to do that, but they did make contact with the occupant who was identified as 27-year-old Connor Carr,” Stevenson said. “Mr. Carr made the initial report and allowed them to check the residence. In doing so, they located multiple items of drug paraphernalia and notified probation and parole who then authorized an arrest based on a probation hold.”

After further investigation, Stevenson says officers discovered a significant amount of criminal activity.

“A search incident to arrest of Mr. Carr produced multiple items of drugs and some cash,” Stevenson said. “There were several types of drugs and all of them fall into the felony category. There was some heroin, cocaine, and methamphetamine.”

Mr. Carr is currently being held for felony criminal possession of dangerous drugs, felony criminal possession with intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia.
