Kettlehouse Brewing 25th Anniversary Float Down the River
Since I moved to Missoula from New York two years ago, I've tried to have experiences that connect me to the town - stuff that I wouldn't have done back home and I can only do here. And last weekend, I finally crossed another one of those off the list - I went floating on the Clark Fork River! (Granted, I did live near the Hudson River in New York, so technically I could have gone floating there, too... but that one's pretty dirty, it's not recommended).
But man, what a cool, relaxing experience (outside of the occasional dodging of rocks). A hot summer day, a couple of drinks in your tube, there's not much better. So, Kettlehouse Brewing is celebrating its 25th Anniversary with a float down the river this Saturday, August 29th.
They're selling tubes in their taprooms, and will be doing beer specials that afternoon. Their Facebook event page has some advice on when to float and what route to take, here's everything you need to know:
>> BEER SPECIALS RUN FROM 4-8PM
>> Suggested Float Time: Put in between 2-5pm
