Stuck? Cybertrucks Will Not Survive Montana’s Winter Conditions

I know this may be a strange question. But, do you ever smell something stinky that triggers a fond memory for you? For me, it is the smell of truck exhaust on a cold winter morning. It always reminds me of the early mornings at hunting camp when Dad would make me go start the truck to warm it up before we took off on the trail. The warm exhaust would make a huge vapor cloud that reeked of gasoline and oil. A smell that may soon disappear for some due to the influx of electric vehicles.

Hunting in Montana typically involves a good amount of offroad driving. Sometimes in conditions that require 4-wheel drive trucks to install heavy chains on all four wheels to get enough traction to go anywhere. But, no matter the effort to battle the winter off-road conditions, you may inevitably find yourself stuck. Digging your vehicle out of snow banks that are as high as your rearview mirrors. It is just something that a person needs to be prepared for when driving off-road in Montana during the snow-filled months.

Tesla has finally released the long-awaited CYBERTRUCK to customers who ordered theirs years ago. Since the Cybertrucks have hit the roads, people have been spotting them all over the country. Treating them almost like a unicorn, and busting out their phones to film a Cybertruck in the wild. Since the snow has started to fly, many of these sightings of Cybertrucks have involved them getting stuck in snow and off-road conditions.

This video surfaced before the holidays showing a new Cybertruck sliding off what appears to be a forest service road while out harvesting a Christmas tree. Only to be towed back to safety by a giant Ford pickup.

Another video has recently surfaced online showing a Cybertruck getting stuck trying to navigate a driveway right here in Montana. Not even close to being offroad. Talk about embarrassing.

Does the Cybertruck come anywhere close to Montanan's definition of a truck? I would say NO... Sure, it is bulletproof and fast. But honestly, it seems more like an expensive 4-wheel drive car. I'll reconsider my opinion of Cybertrucks when I see one bust through a snowbank, haul a ton of hay bales, or pack a couple of dead elk in the back.
