Hamilton’s ‘Tuesday At 12′ Series Starts June 22
It's the 31st year for Hamilton's free weekday concert series "Tuesday At 12." Country and Western music from Western Union will kick off the 10-week performances on the lawn of the Ravalli County Museum.
The Jean Matthews Tuesday at 12 Concert Series was the brainchild of the late Jean Matthews, bringing local musicians to a mid-day venue and bringing audiences to downtown Hamilton. Two groups have been part of the series almost every year - The Big Sky Mudflaps and the Bitterroot Community Band. And they're back again this year. (see the schedule below).
Russ Lawrence had to cancel the series last year during the pandemic, but gave first preference to groups who had planned to play in that summer's shows. As always, there's a great variety of music in the hour-long concerts. The surrounding maple trees and the museum's tents provide shade for the audience. And it's free, thanks to many commercial and individual sponsors.
