Looking for something - anything - that might make you feel more "normal" when seeking entertainment outside your home?

In spite of all the closures and cancellations of events, as of right now, our wonderful Missoula City Band is planning their annual Summer Concert Series in Missoula's Bonner Park, beginning this Wednesday, June 17.

The Missoula City Band has announced its summer series for 2020. For over 100 years, it has been playing fine band music for the public in its open-air concerts. It continues the grand tradition with renewed spirit.

Concerts are scheduled for each Wednesday evening at the Bonner Park Bandshell (corner of Ronald & Hastings Streets, in the University Area), at 8:00 p.m. through August 12. This community service is provided by the generous support of the City of Missoula, many talented musicians, supporters, and you. Wednesday, June 17 is the band’s special “Missoula Big Band” pre-season special. That will be followed each week by our City Band and guest soloists.

Please remember that courtesy toward others' health concerns is still essential in our coronavirus environment. Bring a chair, wear a mask and follow social distancing guidelines during your evening out. The music and the venue in Bonner Park are great. And the experience is a part of what makes Missoula such a wonderful place to be in the summer. Come and enjoy a free concert of fine band music and entertainment. You’ll be glad you did.
