Man, it's been a crazy couple of weeks for Montana women in online competitions - first, we had a Missoula artist placing in the top 5 for Pabst Blue Ribbon's Can Art Contest (and we'll find out the results of that tomorrow, by the way), and now we're hearing about a Montana Chef who has a chance to win an online competition called the Favorite Chef Cooking Contest.

Chef Donna Harrison is from Cut Bank, Montana, and currently resides in Coeur d'Alene - she's entered to win favchef.com's Favorite Chef competition, the winner of which gets $50,000 and a two-page ad in Bon Appétit.

The winner is determined by an online vote, and as of this writing, Donna is currently in third place out of just fifteen finalists! Pretty awesome, right? I think we can give her a bump and bring her all the way to number one - but we need to act fast, because voting ends tonight at 7 PM.

You're able to do a daily vote for free (you need to sign in with your Facebook account) or you can do the "Hero Vote," which has you make a donation to Feeding America, and gives your vote a slight boost. When asked what she would do with the money if she won, Donna said she would go on vacation with her husband - something she hasn't done in over 20 years.

If you'd like to cast your vote, you can do that at the Favorite Chef website. Will you be voting for Donna in this competition?
