As someone who originates from New York, the quality of a town's pizza is a pretty big dealbreaker if I'm gonna live there. I mean, I'm from the pizza capital of the world (except maybe Italy, I'll grant you that one), so my standards are probably way too high. Missoula is way better on the Pizza Scale (which I just made up) than most other non-New York towns I've been to, though. And now, we're adding some more pizza to the mix.

A new pizza truck called Pizzeria Gina opened in Missoula this summer - it's actually been operating since early August, but I just learned about it after it was profiled in the Missoulian. In the profile, owner Tucker McDonald describes their classic sourdough pizzas and their rotating weekly specials. The truck is located at 3750 Highway 200, across the street from Ole's in East Missoula, and is there Wednesday through Sunday from 4 PM to 9 PM.

Pretty cool, right? I haven't had the chance to check it out yet (being as I literally just learned about it minutes ago), but I'm definitely gonna stop by soon.

If you're looking for more info about Pizzeria Gina, you can keep up with them at their Facebook page. And if you need to keep track of them or other food trucks in town, check out Missoula's Food Truck Locator on Instagram, which keeps tabs on just about every food truck in the area and gives you their hours of operation.

Will you be checking out Pizzeria Gina?
