Montana Shakespeare In The Parks Will End Season In Missoula
Man, it is so nice to hear about events actually happening again - just this week, we got news about Under The Big Sky Music Festival in Whitefish AND confirmation that the Guns N' Roses show in Missoula is still scheduled to go as planned. Hearing news like that is such a relief, and makes the world feel a lot brighter than it did around this time last year.
So here's another win we can chalk up for 2021 - after sitting out their season last year, Montana Shakespeare In The Parks is gearing up for their 2021 season across Montana. If you're not familiar, they're an outreach program from MSU that performs free for audiences in public spaces, and every year they travel across the entire state, doing shows almost every single night.
This year, they'll be performing two shows: the classic Shakespeare comedy A Midsummer Night's Dream and the romance Cymbeline. The season will start with several shows in Bozeman before they begin their journey across Montana, which is set to end with two shows in Missoula on Tuesday, September 7th and Wednesday, September 8th.
All signs seem to indicate that things are slowly but surely getting back to normal, and people are planning for it - the Guns N' Roses show will be full capacity, the Griz fall football season plans to have a packed stadium, and we're even hearing rumblings of some concert announcements for the summer.
