We wanted to alert the community to an event coming up that will involve a lot of sirens and emergency vehicles.

On Wednesday, April 19, a Teen Mock Car Crash simulation will be conducted at Ogren Park Allegiance Field (Osprey Baseball Stadium). Folks in that area may see and hear a number of emergency response vehicles starting at 9:30 a.m.

The event will include over 1,300 area students and will promote responsible decision making regarding distracted driving, seat belt use and drinking and driving.

If you need to know more about the program, you can contact Michelle Cole, the trauma program manager at St. Patrick Hospital, 406-329-5603.

Hopefully it has an impact and leaves a lasting impression on these young drivers.
