Need something to do with the kids next week now that they're out of school? Here's something they may want to check out.

Draught Works Brewery is teaming up with Missoula Butterfly House & Insectarium for a Bug Buddy Meet And Greet on Tuesday, June 29th. It's a totally free event for the whole family, and a cool learning experience about insects - you're pretty much guaranteed to walk away knowing more than you did when you came in.

They'll be bringing in actual bugs for to observe and learn about, plus some insect-themed crafts will be happening, too. And hey, it's at a brewery - while the kids are making their crafts, you could always hang back and relax with a beer.

The Missoula Butterfly House & Insectarium has been in a sort of transitional phase for a while now - they've left their old building in downtown Missoula and are getting ready to be set up in a new building at the Missoula County Fairgrounds. They just broke ground on that building last month.

That building has been in the planning stages for a long time, so hopefully we'll have a confirmed date soon on when the Butterfly House can finally, officially move in. But in the meantime, you can get your fix of all kinds of bug-related things at this event, and potentially a few other events the Butterfly House will continue to have throughout the summer.

Think you'll be bringing the family along and checking this one out?
