The Bitterroot Public Library will not be "shushing" the workers on the roof next week. Thanks to a public vote in the primary election, the Hamilton library will be getting a new roof, starting September 3. Library Director Mark Wetherington Jr said in a news release that the project should take between seven to ten days and during that time it will be little noisier than normal inside the building at State and 4th Streets in Hamilton.

Construction will cause some parking changes and there may be some temporary closures to keep patrons safe. Wetherington said the project might be done in separate stages, but the latest information will be posted on the Bitterroot Public Library's Facebook page. You can also call 363-1670.
