Centerfield Cinema has been my favorite thing happening in Missoula this past summer - getting a big, socially-distanced crowd to watch a beloved movie on the scoreboard at Ogren Park every week has been such a consistent delight. And so far, I've managed my goal to make it to every single one of them: Purple RainThe GooniesMean GirlsJawsMad Max: Fury RoadMamma Mia!Space JamStop Making SenseA League of Their OwnBack to the FutureDirty DancingJurassic ParkLabyrinthGreaseRaiders of the Lost Ark, and Clueless (well, Clueless is happening tonight, but I've got my ticket, so I'll be there).

But with the cold weather starting to arrive with the fall, I didn't expect it to continue past September - so I was very excited and surprised when they announced at one of the recent movies that they were going to keep it going for October! I know I'll be there, probably wearing a sweatshirt and some layers, and I'm betting a lot of others will be too, especially as they get into some spookier movies for Halloween season.

And today, they announced the full lineup for the month. This is what they'll be showing:

10/1 - E.T. The Extraterrestrial

10/8 - Footloose

10/15 - Ghostbusters

10/22 - Beetlejuice

10/29 - Scream

Once again, a pretty stellar lineup of movies right there. You'll be able to buy tickets over at the Paddleheads website and get more info at the Roxy's website. Will you be checking any of these out?
