The City Of Missoula Public Works & Mobility has announced street maintenance work on Spruce St that starts Wednesday morning, and asks the public (drivers, pedestrians, and bicyclists) to be aware of construction crews and prepare for possible delays on the north side of Providence St. Patrick Hospital.

Crews will be applying crack sealant to the asphalt on the street, completing the project one block at a time.

Adding the sealant on the pavement will prevent water from getting under it, which can, over time, cause the pavement to degrade and eventually cause potholes (of which, in the history of all things ever, NO ONE is a fan)

The crews will be starting work Wednesday morning (July 29th) and are expected to finish on Thursday the 30th. Please be aware of flaggers and detours, which will be temporary as the crews work one block at a time.
