Yep, we understand. The pay may be lousy, but the office space is about as beautiful as it gets.

If you have some spare time on your hands this summer, volunteer opportunities may be available at any of our Bitterroot National Forest facilities. But let's focus on campgrounds.

The Bitterroot National Forest has many developed campgrounds situated in beautiful settings. Campground hosts play an important role in assisting with the management of these awesome areas and working with the public. Camp hosts are rewarded with a place to stay during the summer and a sense of pride in the work accomplished in making the developed sites safe and communicating with the public about our national forests.

More information and the application form can be found here. You can also contact Todd McKay, Volunteer Coordinator, at the Hamilton office, 406-363-7122.

We hope this might be a perfect fit for you!
