Beer and Cookie Pairing Event at Dram Shop This Weekend

Look, you had me at beer. If you event has the word "Beer" somewhere in its name, you've piqued my interest. And then you throw cookies into the mix? Is this a dream?

Well, that's exactly what's happening over at the Dram Shop this weekend: a Beer and Cookie pairing event, where the flavors of one complement the other in fun and surprising ways. This will be happening on Sunday, February 16th at 6:30 PM - and this at their location on E Front Street, just so you don't get confused.

Treat your Valentine to a specially curated night of delicious goodness with our Beer + Cookie Pairing Event!

Chris from Morning Birds Bakery dreams up new cookies for the tasting every year alongside a classic cookie with an easy going beer for good measure. This year she is collaborating with Grist Milling and Bakery by using their delicious pretzels to create a Peanut Butter Pretzel Shortbread.

We choose beers to pair accordingly. The tart, fruity and sometimes wild profile of a saison needs the perfect cookie to compliment! Lemon and herbal flavors are what we may seek! How to pair a sweet cookie with a citrus forward, Hazy IPA? Seek the same flavor elements, of course with a little twist for experiment!
