I got out of the motorcycle game a few years ago - but I sure do miss having one. Kind of like former cigarette smokers that just want to get a whiff of smoke so they can remember how much they enjoyed smoking - that's pretty much how I am with motorcycles. I just like to look at them while thinking about the good times.

If you're a motorcycle fan you have to check out Bayern Brewing as they host Bike Night in early October. The event will serve as a way to raise funds for the Poverello Center. Bikes, food, beer, a chance to win a motorcycle.........not a terrible way to spend the day.

Social distancing and sanitary measures will be in effect because of COVID-19. But it's just nice to see events starting to happen around town again.

Here's the info from the Bike Night event page on Facebook.

Join us for Bike Night in the beer garden to support the Poverello Center! We will have the parking lot lined with motorcycles, a special menu with limited items and beer under the tent 🍻

All stations will be socially distanced, outdoor restrooms available, sanitizer and various hand washing stations, and masks worn unless seated with your group.

Motorcycle dealerships will be on hand and the Poverello Center, Inc. will be selling tickets for a raffle to win a rebuilt 1995 Harley Davidson Sportster. More details coming soon!
