Did you know there is an easier way to make homemade cookies? For years I have been spending countless minutes mixing ingredient after ingredient together to make delicious cookies for my family. If I had only known I could use half the ingredients and time to make the same baked chocolate chip delights, I could have spent so many minutes doing other things. I could have always had fresh polish on my nails, a cleaner fridge, a little more sleep or even a little more time to chat with the hubby at night.

Well, all that is in the past now. From this day forward, the recipe I will use is listed below. I hope it can give you a few extra minutes too.

5 Ingredient Chocolate Chip Cookies

1 package white or yellow cake mix

1/2 cup oil

2 eggs

1 tablespoon water

1 1/2 cups chocolate chips

Put all ingredients, except for chocolate chips, into a mixer and beat on medium low until combined. Put mixer on low and slowly add chocolate chips. Just beat until combined. Drop rounded teaspoonfuls on an ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 10 to 12 minutes at 350 degrees.
