2nd Annual Free Cycles Climate Ride

Free Cycles Climate Ride is a one-day community cycling event that raised about $4,500 last year to support the bike shop's work with Missoula's youth. This year's ride will be on Saturday, September 7th.

For this year's 2nd annual ride, there are multiple route options including a 77 and 20 mile option, as well as mountain biking options. This includes fun rides and a kid's course at 5 p.m. followed by a BBQ at Free Cycles, along with music and other fun events!

Registration for Free Cycles Climate Ride is free. Once you are registered, you are provided a personal fundraising page so that you can spread the word to help raise funds. The goal is $10,000 and you can see the ride routes and register here.

Last year they had about 60 riders but they are expecting more this year and will need some volunteers. Each volunteer will receive a Cafe Dolce gift card for a 4 hour shift, if you're interested, please email programs@strans.org
