Hollywood is showing their support for Jeopardy! host Alex Trebek after his cancer diagnosis.

On Wednesday (Mar. 6), Trebek announced he's been diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer in a video posted to Jeopardy!'s social media accounts. In it, he not only vowed to “fight” the disease but also promised to continue working on the game show for as long as he could. "Now normally, the prognosis for this is not very encouraging," he said. "But I’m going to fight this, and I’m going to keep working. And with the love and support of my family and friends, and with the help of your prayers also, I plan to beat the low-survival rate for this disease."

"Truth told, I have to. Because under the terms of my contract I have to host Jeopardy! three more years!" the 78-year-old jokingly added. "So help me, keep the faith and we'll win. We'll get it done. Thank you."

Many celebs and TV stars—including Wheel of Fortune's Pat Sajak and Vanna White, as well as Dr. Phil and The Bachelor's Chris Harrison—have since flooded Twitter with moving messages in light of his announcement.
