Well well well, look how the tables have turned. You thought you were invincible. You thought you could put your feet up on the dash and pour soup all over the back seat while you were riding around in some guy's car as he picked you and your drunk friends up at 3 in the morning. Well, the free ride is over.

Uber is starting a new policy where they'll actually be banning people who fall way below the average rating for its users. They've already been doing that with their drivers too, but they're saying that respect is a two-way street, and the users need to keep that in mind.

Now, they're saying this will probably only affect a small percentage of users, but I think it's safe to assume everyone in that small percentage is a monster. Imagine being so terrible of a person that you get banned from Uber. How many terrible rides you would have had to take, how much trash you would have left in the car, how much verbal abuse you would have had to throw at the driver, how many times you would have fallen asleep in the car without telling the guy where you were going (these are just examples, but there are a ton of Uber horror stories out there).

Think this is a good idea?
