The 5 Best Sandwich Shops in Missoula

Believe me the name has nothing to do with the fact that Dan's makes our list of the Top 5 Best Sandwich Shops in Missoula. Not only does a six-inch sub from Dan's fill you up, it's bigger than most foot-longs everywhere else and worth every penny. My favorite is The Golf Club, it's so much more than your typical club sandwich, I always order mine with jalapeno cheese bread and pepper jack cheese for the ultimate in spicy flavor. Not only are the sandwiches amazing, on those cold fall and winter days (or when the only thing your body will stomach is warm, thick, velvety soup) you can't top Dan's selection of soups. Most days feature 2-4 amazing soup selections, but get there early for the Bacon and Beer Cheese Soup because it's always the first to go. When it comes to sandwiches AND soups, Dan's slogan sums it up best: “Satisfying Missoula 6'' at a time!” Dan's Soup & San is located next to Fast Trip on South Reserve in Missoula.

Doc's Gourmet Sandwich Shop is located in the historic Higgins Building in downtown Missoula and has been a Missoula staple for almost 20 years.
