It's been a long time since I've traveled anywhere - in 2019, I headed back to New York a couple of times to see family and go to a friend's wedding, and I was lucky enough to get to plan a mini-vacation to California to go see Warped Tour that summer. And then in 2020... I did not get to do that, thanks to a little pandemic that you may have heard about on the news.

I'm so ready for this to be over and am already planning on trips when I'm able to take them, and I know a lot of people feel the same way. In the meantime, one way frequent travelers have found to cope while they're stuck at home has been to see places virtually. Travel shows or TV shows set in exotic locations were popular last year (there's literally no other reason someone would watch Emily in Paris), and I just came across one YouTube channel called City Walks, which features lengthy videos of people conducting virtual walking tours of different locations all over the world.

And hey, check it out: back in December, they made a stop in Missoula!

It's not the only stop they made, either: they also did a video touring the University of Montana campus, and there are a ton of other ones from the last few months where they're hitting major cities in Montana.

I know Missoulians can just walk outside and see Missoula for themselves, but this is a cool way to show off the town to others who are thinking of traveling once this pandemic is over. And you can use the channel to explore some places you might want to check out if you're planning a post-COVID vacation.
