Sara Bareilles and Cyndi Lauper have collaborated with 'Today' show co-host Hoda Kotb to release a music video called 'Truly Brave' to raise money for pediatric cancer. The song is a lyrical mashup of Lauper's '1986 hit with Bareilles' 2013 single.

It was another emotional tribute this year for the 'In Memoriam' Emmys segment, which was made especially tough with the recent death of Robin Williams.

Remember how Katy Perry and her songwriting and production teams pretty much just did a cover of Sara Bareilles' 'Brave' with goofier lyrics and called it 'Roar?' So does Sara Bareilles. While she was neutral on the songs' similarities before, she's speaking out about it now.
