It was back in March that Starbucks had to change how they do business in the wake of the Coronavirus pandemic - they shut down some of their locations, and pivoted strictly to a drive-thru only model of selling coffee.

But now that some states are loosening their stay-at-home restrictions, Starbucks is preparing to add a few more options for to-go orders, while still maintaining social distancing guidelines.

First is that now people can order ahead through the app and pick up the order from a barista stationed outside in some locations. Some other locations are fully reopening, but only for to-go orders, and only a limited number of customers will be allowed in at a time.

And of course, the drive-thru is still an option in case you just don't want to get out of your car. Like many other places, Starbucks is testing the waters and working to gradually reopen - think this is the right move?
