While amusing, the sentence would be more comical if the crimes weren't so disgusting.

AP tells us that a man convicted of some heinous poaching crimes in Missouri has been ordered to repeatedly watch the old Disney film "Bambi" as part of his sentence.  Mr. David Barry will be watching the movie at least once a month during his year-long jail term.

This guy sounds like the king of poaching sleaze. Trophy bucks were taken illegally for their heads, with the bodies left behind to rot. And we're not talking about one or two instances. He, his father, his brother and others are facing in total over 230 charges in 11 counties. Missouri investigators have been on this case for over three years, now, with their efforts finally being rewarded. Besides jail time, plenty of fines and revoked hunting privileges (presumably for life) are being levied as well.

Over 230 charges...I'm ill.
