Scary New Paranormal Series Surrounds Hauntings in Butte Montana
Some people take strolls through graveyards while others just turn off the lights and watch scary movies. But, scary movies are not always scary, and they always seem to have terrible reviews. Even some of the best scary movies of all time have 3-star ratings. Why is that? It is probably because people think that what they are going to watch is something that really is happening. Something that is not only based on a true story but actually happened...Then there is the scene where the "monster" finally reveals itself, and we are all let down. "Look, you can see the lines from the rig controlling the monster," you say. Or, "The CGI in this movie is terrible, you can tell that is not real blood."
Montana is home to some pretty haunted places. Why? Well, Montana was born in what we call the "WILD WEST." And back then, things were not like they have been portrayed in television and film. It was actually far more violent. Murders and violent crimes were an everyday occurrence in the early days of Montana. The center of all that energy seemed to be the booming mining town of Butte, MT. They call it the "richest hill on earth." With all that money and greed comes violence and evil. This is probably why Butte is one of the most paranormally active places in the state.
Discovery plus has recently unveiled a new series that focuses on ghostly haunting in Butte.
According to the Discovery Plus website
Butte, Montana, is gripped by a supernatural uprising. To restore order, the mayor and sheriff enlist the help of paranormal investigators Dave Schrader, Cindy Kaza and K.D. Stafford to stop the wave of unnatural occurrences plaguing the historic town.
New episodes of "Ghost of Devil's Perch" air Sundays on Travel Channel or streaming on Discovery Plus.
