The ZACC hosts some really amazing rock camps for locals who may have never picked up an instrument before, and turns them into rock stars. It all started with a girl's rock camp, grew into co-ed and they now have adult rock camps as well.

The latest rock camp graduates will be performing original material tonight at the Top Hat. Bands include Phasers On Stun, a band made up of local business women, artists and gymnastic coaches. Two co-ed kid bands will open the show with Insane Asylum and a very talented bass player featured in The Shallow Quintette, both playing songs that they wrote and produced on their own.

The performances are tonight from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Top Hat, no cover, an excellent dinner menu and family friendly! Plus, if you're currently in the process of putting together your own band, this might be a great place to scout some talent.

Big props to the teachers and mentors who have shared their love of music with these special students. It's going to be a great time, come by.
