Indie Rockers Who Once Booked The Top Hat Are Now at Kettlehouse
Wow, what a difference a few years makes, huh?
Flash back to the year 2018: it was the year indie rock band Rainbow Kitten Surprise started to blow up with the release of their third album, How to: Friend, Love, Freefall.
It was also the year the band booked a show at the Top Hat in Missoula... which they sold out so quickly that the show had to be moved to The Wilma, just to accommodate the massive demand. And then, they sold out The Wilma, too!
Now, Rainbow Kitten Surprise is set to return to the Missoula area - but this time, they're going even bigger.
Rainbow Kitten Surprise Will Perform at Kettlehouse Amphitheater Saturday, July 16th
That's right - from The Top Hat to the Wilma to Kettlehouse, all in the span of four years (and if we subtract 2020 for COVID reasons, it's more like three years). That's a pretty impressible accomplishment, and if I had to guess, there are going to be lots of people in Missoula who are pretty excited about this show.
Plus, joining Rainbow Kitten Surprise on the tour is Houndmouth, who you'll probably remember from their hit, "Sedona," which was huge on alternative radio a few years back.
With other concerts for the summer announced like Goo Goo Dolls, Third Eye Blind, Bastille, The Head and the Heart, The Decemberists, and more, it's shaping up to be another excellent concert season for Missoulians.
Tickets for the show go on sale this Friday, February 18th at Logjam's website.
