Virtual graduations at Montana State University in Bozeman will be May 7 through May 9. The individual schools will not hold in-person commencement events, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Every graduating student in the spring class of 2020 is receiving a personal invitation from their deans, followed by a "Commencement in a Box," which will contain balloons, their diploma cover and other items. Diplomas will be mailed in July. The students will also be invited to the in-person fall commencement ceremony December 19th.

May 7 -

  • 7 p.m. - Honors College

May 8 -

  • 11 a.m. - Norm Asbjornson College of Engineering
  • 12:30 p.m. - College of Nursing "Caring for our Own" program
  • 2 p.m. - College of Nursing
  • 3 p.m. - Jake Jabs College of Business and Entrepreneurship Master of Professional Accountancy
  • 4 p.m. - Gallatin College
  • 4:30 p.m. College of Agriculture
  • 5 p.m. - Jake Jabs College of Business and Entrepreneurship

May 9 -

  • 9 a.m. - Graduate School
  • 11 a.m. - College of Letters and Science
  • 3:30 p.m. - College of Arts and Architecture
