Montana Women Spend the Least on Make Up
With many celebrating International Women's Day this week, we still have to face the truth that women still make just 80 cents on the dollar compared to men. And if you're a woman who takes her make up seriously, you also have that extra expense to absorb.
According to the Huffington Post, 3,000 American women were polled on how much money they spend on make up, and researchers found that the average female spends $8 per day on facial care. That drills down to $5 on skin care products, and $3 on daily make up. If you do your make up 7 days a week, that's almost $3,000 per year!
The ladies of New York, Connecticut and West Virginia were found to spend the most, with an average of $11 per day. And the gorgeous, active women of Montana spend the least at $3.50 per day. Because who needs make up when you're shredding, hiking, jogging and biking? As a wise woman once said, "ain't nobody got time for that."
I know a lot of women who won't dare leave the house without wearing foundation, but I'm all about the eyeliner. Maybe that's the 90's chick in me?
Either way, I'm proud to state that badass Montana women are so confident with how we look and feel, that we don't have to spend our hard earned dollars on make up. Sweaty is beautiful my friend, now get out there and kick some butt!
