Montana Woman Quarantined On Cruise Ship For Possible Coronavirus
You may have seen in the news that a cruise ship which recently returned to the US has been quarantined after several passengers tested positive for the Coronavirus. What you may not have realized is that one of the passengers on the ship was actually from Montana.
The ship is docked in the Port of Oakland and 21 passengers on the ship are confirmed to have the Coronavirus, so everyone on the ship is stuck there for at least a couple of days. That includes Judy Vidack from Big Timber, Montana, a retired 4th grade teacher at Big Timber Grade School. She says she's feeling fine, but she may be among the American citizens who get transferred to a military base for observation before being allowed to return home.
Montana has been lucky enough to not have any confirmed cases of the Coronavirus yet, but most people think it's only a matter of time until it gets here. And knowing that someone from Montana was so close to it makes it seem even more real.
