Well, this isn't great. According to a new study from WalletHub, Montana has been ranked as one of the least diverse states in the entire country.

The study factors in things like socioeconomic diversity, household diversity, cultural diversity, religious diversity, and political diversity - those numbers averaged together brought Montana all the way into the bottom 5, sitting at number 46.

The only states we managed to be ahead of were New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine, and West Virginia. On the flip side, California ranked in the number 1 spot, with Texas, Hawaii, New Jersey and New York following closely behind.

Are you surprised by Montana's placement on this list?
