Local Starbucks Introduces Gut-Busting “Trenta” Drink Size

Starbucks has been both lauded and lampooned for enforcing its own names for drink sizes -- the "Tall," "Grande," and "Venti." Now the coffee empire is offering a fourth size: the 31-ounce "Trenta," which will be rolled out across the country over the next few months. The National Post created a helpful diagram that compares the Trenta to the other size offerings at Starbucks and the capacity of the human stomach. The Trenta is only available for iced beverages, but watch out for what they pack in there: some of Starbucks' cold drinks, like the popular Frappuccino, already tip the scales at 700-plus calories in Venti sizes.
