Missoula Police were called to a home in the 1700 block of South 9th Street West on Saturday after a family walked in and found a nearly naked male camped out in their living room.

"The residents had come home to find a strange man in their house," said Missoula Police Public Information Officer Travis Welsh. "It appeared that he had forced entry. The residents had actually come back out of the house and the police called the suspect outside over the PA in one of their cars... then the suspect came out wearing only a pair of boxer shorts."

Welsh says the suspect did not resist arrest and had followed the directions of the homeowner before police arrived.

"He was identified as 26-year-old Kenneth Trottier, apparently there was some internal damage caused in the house, but at the time, there did not appear to be anything taken. The complaintants wife entered the house first with their three children, saw the male and immediately turned around and left... then the man of the house came in and told the male suspect to 'sit down and wait.'"

Trottier is now facing a felony for burglary of a residence. He is in the Missoula County Jail on a $50,000 bond.
