
Missoula Man Charged With Felony Criminal Mischief for Tagging Downtown Buildings [AUDIO]
A Missoula man was arrested Tuesday night and charged with felony criminal mischief after being observed spray-painting the sides of downtown buildings, an activity also known as "tagging".
Corporal James Caton with the Missoula Police department said "at about 9 p.m. police received a report of an adult male who was seen spray-painting the walls of various businesses." Caton went on to say, "street crimes unit officer Mitch Lange observed the male suspect in the 400 block of South Higgins, where the male dropped the paint can just before being detained."
According to the Missoula County jail roster, Samuel Engler, 25, will appear before Judge Karen Orzech in Justice Court Wednesday afternoon on charges of both felony and misdemeanor criminal mischief. Engler's bail was set at $50,000.
