Millie Bobby Brown dedicated her outfit and acceptance speech at last night's 2018 Kids' Choice Awards to the 17 victims who lost their lives during the Parkland, Florida school shooting on February 14.

In accepting her first KCA blimp for Favorite TV Actress, the Stranger Things star took the stage to voice her support for the protest against gun violence by wearing a denim chambray with each of the Parkland victims' names stitched on to its backside.

Inscribed just above the names was the motto "March for Our Lives," which derives from the student-led protest of the same name which occurred inaugurally in Washington D.C on Saturday (March 24).

The event inspired a wave of approximately 800 sibling events across the United States and drew attention from celebrities like Demi Lovato, Miley Cyrus, and Ariana Grande.

“Thank you so much for this award and to Nickelodeon for bringing us all together," the 14-year-old started her address. "The March for Our Lives demonstrations that took place all over the world today have inspired me and it impacted us all in one way or another. I’m fortunate to be here tonight to receive an award as an actor."

Brown added: “More than anything, I get to be up here and I’m privileged to have a voice that can be heard, one that I can hopefully use to make a positive difference, and help influence change...For the angels among us, your spirit lives on, this is for you.”
