Can't tell you how many times we've been hit up by bands looking for a space to record a demo. In 2020, it's been more podcasters than bands, looking for a room with foam walls and electricity. Or maybe you're recording your memoir, whatever the case may be, there's an affordable place for you to record at the ZACC.

If it's been a minute, remember, Zootown Arts Community Center moved from the northside to downtown Missoula at 216 West Main. Last summer the ZACC opened their recording studio and this isn't some little thrown together project, this is a beautiful, professional recording studio, plus, it's open to the public!

The ZACC uses the studio for a bunch of different Music Education programs, but it's also used by local and regional musicians, bands, creators and businesses for all kinds of different projects. According to the website, "The ZACC recording studio is designed to facilitate high-quality recording sessions of all kinds, with an emphasis on efficiency and excitement, by using hybrid analog/digital recording techniques and much of the industry-standard equipment you’d expect to find in professional recording studios around the world."

The ZACC is offering Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced recording options, depending on your project and budget. You can see the list of recording equipment and mics here. And your engineer is none other than Christopher Baumann, as in Dead Hipster, Mass FM, Chris. He's got a ton of experience and is just an all around great guy, so it should be a great experience for you.

Get prices and book time at the ZACC here. We look forward to hearing your projects!
