The LEGO Batman Movie isn’t the only new animated LEGO movie in the works. Lest you forget, Warner Bros. is also developing a film based on the popular Ninjago franchise, and they’ve recently begun assembling a great lineup of voice talent. Justin Theroux and Olivia Munn are the latest names to join the The LEGO Ninjago Movie, which already boasts an excellent roster.

Per Variety, the diverse cast also includes the legendary Jackie Chan, expert character actor Fred Armisen, Dave Franco (who is, let’s be honest, the Superior Franco), Broad City’s Abbi Jacobson, Silicon Valley stars Kumail Nanjiani and Zach Woods, and Michael Peña. The report additionally reveals new plot and character details:

In this big-screen “Ninjago” adventure, the battle for Ninjago City calls to action young Lloyd (Franco), aka the Green Ninja, along with his friends, who are all secret warriors and Lego Master Builders. Led by kung fu master Wu, who’s as wise-cracking as he is wise, they must defeat evil warlord Garmadon (Theroux), the Worst Guy Ever, who also happens to be Lloyd’s dad. Pitting mech against mech and father against son, the epic showdown will test this fierce, but undisciplined team of modern-day ninjas who must learn to check their egos and pull together to unleash their true power.

Kung-fu master Wu is voiced by Jackie Chan, by the way. Otherwise, the plot sounds slightly similar to that of The LEGO Movie, though it seems like Franco’s protagonist is a bit more confident and skilled than Chris Pratt’s Emmet. The best part of this plot description is, obviously, Theroux’s casting as the Worst Guy Ever.

The LEGO Ninjago Movie marks the feature directing debut of Charlie Bean, who previously helmed episodes of Tron: Uprising and worked in art and animation on shows like Batman: The Animated Series and Powerpuff Girls. Phil Lord and Chris Miller are producing the new project, which hits theaters on September 22, 2017.
