Montana is full of awe-inspiring sights.

With popular places like Yellowstone and Glacier National Parks taking top billing, several more areas across Big Sky Country are well known like Flathead Lake and the Beartooth Highway. However, one popular sight is a bit of a mystery.

Just outside of of Whitehall, Montana is the Sage Wall. A place where the origin has been debated since it was discovered almost 30 years ago.

The Sage Wall was discovered back in 1996 and since that time folks have argued over whether it was built by man or something that nature created. Like any good conspiracy, a few different theories are floating out there, including aliens.

While many Montanans may be aware of the wall, what you might not know is that it has been discussed nationally, including on one of the biggest podcasts in the world. Almost everyone knows who Joe Rogan is and whether you're a fan of the show or not, there's no doubt that he is one of the biggest media influences going today.

Joe and his guest discussed the Sage Wall on one of his podcasts and the outspoken host had some thoughts on the Montana landmark and certainly didn't mince his words when giving his opinion.  Below is the segment about the mysterious Montana landmark, be aware there is course language in the video.

The story behind the wall is an interesting one. According to their website, the folks who run the property claim they discovered the Sage Wall while hiking on the property back in 1996. The landmark is 275 feet long and 24 feet high. The claim is that the formation is 75 million years old.

For those who would love to see the wall up close and personal, you need to make an appointment and reservations don't open up until May. Oh, and there is a fee involved. It will cost you 99 dollars per person for an unguided 2-hour tour. However, those 17 years and younger are free.

So if you're looking for something to do this summer that doesn't include the more "popular" attractions, maybe a trip to Whitehall is in order. Who knows, you could be standing next to something that is from out of this world.
