University of Montana Football Game Promos are Here!
It's never too early to get hyped about Griz Football, and the Grizzlies on the gridiron are ramping the hype meter up this week by making the headlines.
First, Junior Wide Out/Punt Returner Junior Bergen was named to the Athlon Preseason FCS All-America Team (congrats Junior). Then, it was announced that Montana/Idaho's "Battle for the Little Brown Stein" game will air on ESPN. It's just one of two Big Sky Conference games slated to air nationally according to the Big Sky Conference offices. Finally, the University's Sports Information Department unveiled the 2023 Promotional Schedule.

September 2 VS Butler - Season Opener/Educators Day
A double dip! Football returns to Missoula and we get to celebrate the wonderful teachers, professors, and the rest.
September 16 VS Ferris State - Black Out
One of my favorites. 30 thousand people show up in solidarity wearing nothing but darkness to intimidate the opponent. Plus, it looks really cool.
September 30 VS Idaho State - Homecoming/Native American Heritage Game
A chance to welcome back all the Griz alumni and give homage to the Native American culture that's so prevalent in Montana.
October 28 VS Northern Colorado - Griz Hall of Fame Game/Family Weekend/First Responders' Game
This year's Griz Hall of Fame class includes the first Grizzly Soccer Coach Betsy Duerksen, former All-American runner Dean Erhard, former NFL Pro Bowler with the Tennessee Titans Marc Mariani and the Lady Griz' 11th all-time leading scorer Jeanne McNulty-King.
November 4 VS Sacramento State - Military Appreciation Game/Youth Day
