Weekend Events In Missoula: UM Commencement With A Side Of Pro Wrestling And Water Circuses

Looking for something to do in Missoula? We've got you covered with this weekend's (5/9-5/11) events.

Note: Recurring events include the downtown farmers market and Missoula Children's Theater production of Cinderella. 

Cirque Italia Water Circus

"Cirque Italia presents 'Aquatic Spectacular.' The name reflects a unique attribute under the tent, as the show features a custom designed water stage that travels from city to city."

This event looks incredibly cool and unique. We've seen circus-like shows but I'm not sure if we've seen it like this.

Cirque Italia will host shows all weekend long. Here's the full schedule:

• Friday, May 9, 2025: 7:30 pm
• Saturday, May 10, 2025: 1:30 pm, 4:30 pm, 7:30 pm
• Sunday, May 11, 2025: 1:30 pm, 4:30 pm
• Monday May 12, 2025: 7:30 pm

Cancer Support Community's Food Truck Festival

Friday night is the 4th annual Cancer Support Community Food Truck Festival at Ogren Park at Allegiance Field from 4 - 9 pm.

University of Montana Graduation Commencement

Congratulations to all the UM graduates who are moving on to bigger and better things. Saturday will break up into two ceremonies: The first begins at 9 am, with the afternoon cap starting at 2 pm.

UM Strategic Communications Director Dave Kuntz also dove into the new "Grizzly Gateway" sign welcoming people over the bridge.

Bill Phelps Kids' Fishing Day

Moms can fish for free in Montana this weekend (happy Mother's Day!), but so can the young ones. The City of Missoula is hosting a free fishing day at McCormick Park this Saturday.

• 10-11 am: Ages up to 6
• 11:30 am-12:30 pm: Ages 7-14

The best part is Parks & Rec will supply the supplies.

Montana Championship Wrestling's Debut Event: In WIthout Knocking

I love pro wrestling and I'm not ashamed to admit that. It's awesome that Montana has a brand new wrestling promotion debuting in Missoula on Saturday.

In Without Knocking takes place on Friday, May 9th at 6 pm at Cymatic Event Center.
